Seed corn maggots.government program that said rye had to be terminated 2 weeks prior to planting. Cold and dry in March so I worked it then and killed any rye I missed with glyphosate and pre-emerge.

Farm across the road had rye spread in Nov and never took off. same seed same planting dates-tillage ect but less insects and 70k more beans emerged
