Subject: Magnum 250 went nuts

Top of Texas
Hired hand called yesterday and said our Magnum 250 just died while planting. I went out and got on it and it started normally, no faults, but as soon as I took off and went about 10-20 feet it came to an abrupt halt and threw a transmission fault, engine fault, and a stop engine warning. I had to kill the engine (when it didn’t die on its own) to reset everything so I could attempt to move it. This was repeated at least 20 times as I limped the tractor out to the road at .5 mph. At one point I got a warning that the DEF tank was empty and power limited even though it had been filled in the morning. When I finally got to the field end and attempted to unhook the planter using the hydraulics to fold it killed the tractor several times and once I finally got the planter folded the 3 pt hitch refused to work unless I shut the tractor off and restarted it. I’m wondering if maybe it’s a voltage issue affecting multiple controllers or something like that, I’ve never seen anything like this. Any input appreciated.
