A ten percent reduction in emergence versus actual umber of seed drop would be a reasonable place to become dissatisfied assuming he weather you describe. There is no such thing as hard seed in corn and there are an increasing number of good people making bad decisions on what seed quality is acceptable IMHO. Good luck
