coast of Maine
I do know that last year with good data it was shown that 5 cents in 1920(when my grandparents immigrated here) was actually equal to one USA dollar. Today given the rapid decline in the dollars value I believe it would take 4 cents in 1920 to equal a dollar today.I know that when a cardboard box that we pack veg/ produce in can cost 4$ and the product inside can be worth 3$ we are frigged. Many of us are producing products for the cheapest returns ever.Corn dirt cheap, apples dirt cheap and being dumped, potatoes cheap as ever and being dumped. Then there are starving people across the world,,,why,,politics.
