I prefer steel-cut oats for breakfast, and since they take longer to cook, I just make a big batch of oats and put them in the refrigerator. Each morning, I scoop out some cooked oats and microwave them for a little while to warm them up, and then I am ready to eat. I have a kitchen scale that I can use to keep track of portion size.
