coast of Maine | Wife did her 40 plus years as teacher and administrator.It has gotten steadily more difficult as regs/rules/kids/parents all became some what dis functional.She loved the care she gave students.They enjoyed her also.The school she mostly ran smoothly is swirling the drain at this time as leadership is lacking.7am to usually mid night with grading papers.Administration during covid hysteria was 7 days nearly 24 hours with phone and emails,,for 2 plus years.I get up at 3 am often her phone would ding at 4 am,it would be calls,emails til, after 11 pm...crazy.The last year they finally got admins school phone numbers,,no use the town knew her cell number and email.She never ever complained once.Just me... | |
