Good for him!! Friend's daughter had her license the 1st day she was legal and is in college now with her sights set on her commercial certification. Glad that he has that fire!!
My dad had a small plane and we had a 2000 foot grass strip. My older sister and brother both soloed and were licensed for a time. I started lessons but a summertime job in Delaware took me away and I never got back to it. My sister went to college and freshmen couldn't have cars but she had dad's little Piper there and impressed some guys on the football team.
