Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana | I had a 7000 with a Deere single disk, it took some doing to mount them because I had to add another bar (see picture).
I had a lot of trouble with them plugging between the shoe and the knife, even though everything I read said they were supposed to be the best.
After that, I tried the Martin UMO100s......... don't ever use ones that attach to the row-unit too easy to raise the unit and cause a lot of trouble. plus they were a mess.
I then put a set of those like you are looking at and loved them. They did a good job of placing the fertilizer in the ground about 2" deep.
No, they were not a mess.
