Subject: Skip a grade in school?

Chih, Mexico
Our daughter is finishing 1st grade now, she is in a group of 26 children with 1 teacher which is more than a teacher can handle at a time. Some new students will be taken in in August when she goes into 2nd grade,

Because of the number of students they are offering us and others of the top performing students if we'd be ok with skipping a grade so the group would get a bit smaller and more manageable for the teachers.

She has been a straight A student so far but I personally don't think she'd be as advanced to be able to skip a grade and not struggle to catch up.

What is your experience or advice on this?
