| Makes a lot of sense. Collecting the water into smaller areas to provide enough moisture to grow a crop in that area. I saw anther video of how a woman has been turning the desert in Mexico to a Forest area to grow food. The trees she plants are able to use the underground water because of the deeper roots.
I have read that there are many places in the desert that there is underground water and if trees are planted right the roots will tap the water underground as demonstrated in Mexico video.
It looked like the river was really big and I did not see any irrigation. | |
