I contacted Milwaukee directly: those were there directions. I did not take them back to big box store because I could not locate the receipt. Milwaukee expected me to ship the entire drills/drivers back to them.
I had a Porter-Cable circular saw that mail-functioned in that the safety shield did not return to safe position: because little coil spring caught on something @ stretched out-of-position & caught on shield. Seriously dangerous situation. I contacted the company & they sent a new saw & required me to send original one back in same box, then complained that there was nothing wrong with it: I had fixed the spring
I had only contacted them to let them know that that situation could happen: possibly best to re-design the spring
Do not buy ..,,
