The Surveying Antenna - TNC (TOP106) I mentioned, some $133.00, may or may not be better.  PotatoFarmer made a 17 minute video, but I would have to review it to see if he mentioned the antenna model used. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMfN55QyLq0  It might have been one listed in that antenna database. He may have had a Trimble base station setup, and years later, then used a different receiver for his DIY project.


I'll assume this is true: An observation angle of 70° from the vertical axis (20° above the horizon) usually offers good performance.

Trimble, like other OEMs, might make a single product, and then use use it in various applications.  Trimble was into surveying equipment, but I don't know if AG25 was designed for both AG and surveyors.  I might look at that antenna database again, and lookup a few antennas to see what they look like.  Knowing NRP is important.
