Townsend, Montana

For the most part I thot montana was above avg this year.

Most of the state was sitting pretty good last fall but we didn't get any precipitation to speak of over winter. I took a dirt bike ride up to 7k feet on Easter weekend. Should have been a snowmobile ride with feet of snow and I only saw a few patches of snow in the thickest timber.

Irrigation districts on the rocky mountain front are talking about 3" to 6" allotments this year instead of the normal 24".
