I suffered with this for a couple years. Custom fitted orthotic insoles worked for awhile until they didn't. What finally helped the most was a splint that I wore while sleeping every night. It was pretty awkward but it worked. I think plantar fasciitis is something I will always be prone to. I don't wear the sleeping splint any more but I never walk barefoot even around the house. And I still wear the orthotic insoles every day.
This, get the split, roll a full pop can under your arch while sitting, get ortho inserts, wear good shoes.. |
