NW Indiana | If it keeps raining during the vegetative stage then shuts off during reproduction it won't matter how much moisture is underneath, the roots won't be down there. If it just keeps raining all season that likely won't work out well either with loss of nutrients and high disease pressure. If it stays relatively dry for the next 2 months this moisture will be a huge benefit as it will feed the crop as the roots go deep but will need more moisture in July/August. | |
