| to go into sustainable aviation fuel. this isnt `new` news, but used cooking oil prices have soared and half of us needs have come from china. between used cooking oil and the safrinha double crop brazilian corn, there wont be a need to share a $2/bushel 45z tax credit with farmers. im surprised that there is this huge supply of used cooking oil in the world. dad would sometimes joke at kfc "the chicken aint so bad today, they must have changed the oil" :-)
with china there have been stories of `gutter oil` that is made of of everything nasty for side street cooking, now even that might have a value. the good guy thats running for president likes the use of the tool tariffs, perhaps the renewable crowd who are generally tariff-phobes will become strange bedfellows with him?
