Subject: RE: cottonwood trees

I have 5000 feet of geothermal @9' through cottonwood river bottom, closing hard on 30 years now (sheesh, will i ever finish my house?) With no trouble. I think it was 2" black poly. The feds have about 50 miles laid in of poly, hdpe and pvc (i dont really know pipe so im talking out my rear), around and through cottonwood country in the last 5 years here, i guess we will see how they do.

I dont think its a problem. Root ball about the size of a volkswagon, and root system about same size as tree.
