SEIL | Here in IL, if you own more than one truck you have to keep a daily inspection log. You also have to have a DOT # on anything over 10,000 gross. That includes pickups. Anyone driving something over 26,000lbs, has to have a medical card on them or it's a $1600 fine. We can run farm plates within 100 miles of home place. If we go farther than that distance we have to keep a log book. If it were me, I'd try to find some more farm ground. When states run out of money, the first people they start taxing are the truck drivers. IL's bankrupt. Thanks HOT ROD. | |
