It literally went right over us before it cut loose. We was sitting on the sun porch watching it rain the whole time. A mile east down Todd school road you can see a few houses that got hammered. Did you have any damage?
Yeah, we got hammered pretty good up at the headquarters. Broke several windshields. Think the accountant gal’s Yukon may be totaled. Hammered a couple of our hoppers. This was our first (and last) year of storing some corn in bags. The hail broke holes in the bags. Neighbor found a coon in his yard that was killed and heard of two dogs killed.
I fared pretty well, considering. Tammy’s pickup has a few pretty good dents. Broke the skylight out of my camper, but it’s right over the shower and 90% of the water went right down the drain. My little enclosed 4-wheeler trailer took a pounding. Dad’s roof on his house will have to be replaced.
Have nothing to complain about. My heart goes out to those hit by tornadoes, damaging floods, etc. Feel pretty fortunate here.
