Looks like the gumbo is all going to need re planted here also. I actually stopped planting several days ahead if the rain, but it wasn't soon enough. Looks like half or better of everything will need re done. Snuck one field of beans in over a week ago, not sure about them. I agree wet weather sucks, we were perfect on moisture ahead of all the rain. You could plant everything without worrying about seeps, or leaving tracks, but plenty of moisture down at planting Depth.


The guys out west that complain about being dry, why don't you guys get together and perform some cloud seeding out there and capture some of the moisture that drounds us out in the spring. We would gladly sacrifice. Honestly an inch if rain a month would be plenty for us until June, then 2", july 3, august 4, then 2 in early September. Then shut off again would be wonderful.
