N.E. MO | Beautiful evening for a ride. Checked out some of the damage from the terrible rains we’ve had here. Anyone that ever prays for rain around here is on my bad list. I want the “drought” back and I’ll pick it every time. I’d say half the 6,000 acres of corn we have planted so far will have to be replanted. And we’re a long ways from having everything planted the first time. Haven’t planted a bean yet either.
Absolutely hate that empty passenger seat on the wheeler. That was Tammy’s seat (or mine when she wanted to drive). Ridin’ and shootin’ after church today was good for the soul. She would have loved every second. I can take that back seat of and put a toolbox there, but that’s her seat and it’s going to stay right where it is.
