| My kids are of the age where they are entering or will be entering the full time workforce. My advice to them has been be honest, do your best for you current employer but you are the CEO of your life. Know what you want to do, what lifestyle you want to live and do what you need to do for yourself to accomplish that. Give your current employer plenty of notice and if they walk you to the door immediately or have ill feelings towards you wanting to improve your personal situation then you know you’ve made the right decision. If they wish you well and respect your decision you likely have an open door to return to if ever needed. | |
