Iowa | +1.... I do a lot of the same things with excel as you. For a while I had crop budgets and cash flow projections updating with market prices from websites for the open positions. There were youtube videos explaining how to do it, probably still are. It seemed to work with some websites and not others. The problem I ran into was slight changes in website formats would crash the process, so I'd have to start over and enter new equations to make it work again. Like you said, the juice was not worth the squeeze. It's much easier for me to enter a few market prices onto the spreadsheet and pull the numbers from there to wherever are needed. That works well enough for my purposes. | |
