I'm not in Minnesota but I'd say that depends on the officer that pulls you over. I'm from Iowa so anything goes when you get pulled over here.
What difference does it make who pulls you over?
One either broke the law or they didn’t.
LEOs don’t make the laws, and from my experience one would be foolish taking a LEOs word for what they “think” is the actual law…
Due your own due diligence on actual laws/statues.
