Here best basis is spot. Talking to my nephew this morning and thinking basis may get softer over next years of bigger carry out. We have seen some very good basis here which 10-15 prior was not so good. The other unusual thing is to have good basis and strong prices. So to your post basis makes up a lot of the margin in a bushel of corn and hard to put a number on it.
