I use these on a sidedress bar. In my experience, I would think hard about a JD single disk or something else. The parrallel linkage has been an issues for me and if you deal with rocks you need some heavy mounts for them. If the mounts aren't good they will let the coulter twist from verticle but if they are you may break the verticle shaft or the linkage. For what they cost new or ever used, Deere and Knize singles would work much better (In my situation at least).
