Southwest Illinois | Well I hate to tell you when a developer wants to buy a tract that has a low cost basis, the owner will be holding out for more money driving the cost of housing even higher, if that's possible. We own a couple tracts adjoining housing developments. The next time they come knocking I will want 2.5 or 3 to 1 acre, plus any capital gains tax I might owe. So instead of $50K 1/5th acre lots they will be $75K. Doesn't sound like progress to me. Bidens plans are to eliminate the middle class and he is following the playbook to a "T". Eventually we will be a country of rich politicians(That has already happened) and people solely dependent on the government. Then we will be taken over by China or Russia. | |
