North Central Iowa | This is more or less what I've been doing, except with chicken litter for the rest of the nitrogen. 32% mixed with pre-emergence herbicides, followed immediately by the field cultivator (try not to be more than 24 hours total behind the sprayer, so I don't have the coop put down the 32% on all my fields at once). Then plant corn right behind the field cultivator if weather cooperates Generally field cultivate pretty shallow. | |
