We plant into Green cereal rye most every year. Sometimes sprayed before planting, sometimes a few days after. We do apply insecticide with the planter mostly non GMO but even if root worm seed it gets insecticide with the planter. I have not seen the RYE penalty people talk about. .... Dennis
