He said it’s already sprayed. To the OP I’d wait until it’s brown dead. Was there any residual chems put down? Chisel plowing would likely incorporate those too deep and they’d be a waste. I’d also be hesitant to do tillage because I’ve seen too many messes trying to get the ground in shape because of root mass. That usually doesn’t go well. You’re on the right track to up your N rate. That’s critical. Also, I’ve never had 15” tall rye wrap on my planter. It’s a kinze 3660, my dad has a set of 1590 drills. They don’t wrap either. Maybe some do, I’m not trying to argue with the other guy.
