Saskatchewan, Canada | Did you ever find out the problem with your tractor? I'm chasing down an odd vibration too on a 9680. Originally thought it may have been coming from the front of the engine, thought maybe the harmonic balancer. But i pulled rear driveshaft off of engine, started the motor and the vibration mostly went away (so that rules out the harmonic balancer). rubber coupler appears good, u joint and slip joint on driveshaft seem good as well. Yoke on trans input shaft as well as the input shaft bearings all seem good and tight. So i'm kinda at a loss. Thinking maybe engine/trans are possibly out of alignment, but can't seem to track down the alignment tool from the local dealer. | |
