Most insane one I came across personally was CNH wanted over $5000 for an engine gasket set for a D312 engine. No that's not a typo, five flippin grand. Bought a head gasket (was almost a grand itself) and a caulking gun tube of black right stuff.
Solved that problem by purchasing an Agco tractor to replace the IH.
