There is a place for both, one of our drills is between 250-300 zerks BUT they typically only take 2-3 pumps, we still use the manual gun simply because it's easier to drag around when you're doing the belly crawl through there lol. The Salford with 70ish wheels the guys prefer the milwaukee because they will typically take 10-15 pumps, I still like the manual but we do have a milwaukee
