Thanks for the heads up on the ply differences - I assumed they would be heavy ply - you probably saved me from a dissappointment that I would have to accept if I purchased them.
When I talked to the dealer he said the tires can be installed on a standard rim with a tire change machine. If the tires were 16 ply then I think it might be a tight fit.
Most heavy ply used aircraft tires I have seen were mounted on a 2 piece rim.
