just a tish NE of central ND | Wrong, or right? IDK...but I use a pair shaded safety glasses for the plasma so far. I never really use anything when I should for the acetylene torch except clear splatter protection shield. I can tell you, the plasma is a brighter light that the acetylene torch. You can sure see the point of the plasma arc cut well when you forget to put those safety glasses on, but I wouldn't recommend looking in at the plasma "flame arc" on purpose.
