Some time back, probably 31 years ago my kids sold sweetcorn. They had people come from many miles away. It was an annual event. Once we had picked a lot of sweetcorn and had an emergency that took us away from the stand. I quickly took a coffee can, taped a sheet of paper on it saying, "one bakers dozen (13) ears, $2.50 or $2.00 not certain anymore. That evening when we came home all the sweetcorn was gone and the can was full of money. It's a fond memory for our family. This clip of a store that operates that way brought it to mind
