NC Iowa | i thought historically, the memorial money was to be used for burial and marker expense, or how the family chooses if undesignated . years ago, my parents lost children, my 3 month big sister, and my big brother in childbirth. . in their grief they gave all the memorial money to the church. they didn't have money back then, and never marked the grave. later when they could afford it, they didn't get a marker. maybe their way of avoiding the pain.my about 15 years ago, i bought a marker for my siblings.
i posted about it on agtalk about 12-15 years ago. for those able to search better than me, it can be looked up..
