Central Western VA Mountains | You are correct. I registered the remote ID and it attached to my drone on the FAA website.
For Part 107 flights, you need a remote ID module for each drone, though I suppose you could go onto the Dronezone and “decouple” the module and attach (for lack of a better word) to another drone you might be flying that occasion.
I believe for non-part 107 flights, you can move the module from drone to drone. All of my flights are 107, so not sure about that. |
