Missouri

We put some in on hills for a study several years go. Notilled into green was a bust, but when notilled into 6" sprayed strips it worked surprisingly well and left enough of the original forages for a bit of a mix. I believe the strips were on 15" centers and we plugged the drill meters over the green strips. I can't remember the variety, but it was one of the new ones with improved palatability. It didn't produce as well as the old rank stuff we all have in our waterways and was even more sensitive to over grazing in the fall, but it sure made some good looking hay being up on top of the hill where multiple cuttings could be put up right on time.

I've been processing a few WRP bales on a wet 10 acre field next to a creek for a few years now year with no luck getting it to take. I know the bales have seed in them, but it's just not working.
