NC Ohio | Looks like a low volume tube in the picture that will have trouble flowing cold 10-34-0. But cutting your rate in half seems extreme.
Orifices dont determine the volume, but create equal distribution across the planter, because of back pressure. Usually you can use a larger size than absolute rate, and still get even application.
Sounds like you have other issues than the orifices.
Again it looks like very small plumbing in that picture.
