We trammed as you discussed for years. Works really well as your sprayer wheels line up with the #2 pass of the planter. I also had a 30 foot planter with a 90 foot sprayer. Fungicide or Aphid spraying is made easier with the 30 inch tram lines. I had very few issues of weed escapes with the tram and I did not increase population in the adjacent rows. The kit I have just uses a ball valve to shut off air pressure to the tram rows. There is a magnetic sensor on the frame to count every time the planter lifts and we set the shut off for the #2 pass. Small controller in the cab. Very simple to use. We have a different planter now so the kit is for sale I guess. Just give me a call even if you just have questions. 218-731-1656.
