SWMN | Mine was on right side of neck. 30 radiation treatments Sept\Oct 2020. Tongue was somewhat paralyzed for a couple months following. Took a couple years before I could eat apples and oranges, just this past winter started eating grapefruit again, they tasted good just way too strong. Sweet or salty still somewhat an issue. Nothing tastes the same as I remember.
The right side of my face was basically all burned off and came back all new skin baby butt smooth and no whiskers. I'm assuming my tongue did basically the same thing, all new tastebuds.
Count your blessings you've experienced another of life's adventures.
I learned the cancer is the easy part, the doctors take care of that. The depression that went with it was the hard part and I had to fix that. | |
