We currently have a supply problem. Why would the market go down drastically when we already have a supply problem? Markets go up and down, that is what they do, but the industry is smarter than to sell off in a big way that would encourage people to exit the industry. The packers have re-tooled their chains and equipment to handle heavy weights. I believe the master plan to get out from underneath this supply problem is to kill 1700–1800-pound live cattle. |
