And get it in writing what happens if they buy your land and the road project falls through for some reason. It would be just a like a municipality to sell that strip of land to a developer to build who knows what - gas stations, apartments, carpool parking lot, etc - none of which would be good to farm next to if you didn't have to. I would think you would want to retain the right to buy the land back at the same price and they cover all the transaction costs if the road project falls through. | |
