The only way Iowa team beats that SC is if Iowa can keep up its 1st quarter pace for the entire game.
That was unlikely to happen and didn't happen. They put up a valiant effort in the 4th to get it close but lost to a bigger/deeper/better team. The SC bench outscored Iowa's bench 37-0. When your bench scores 37 points, that's huge!
I don't care for Dawn Staley or her support of men playing women's sports but that doesn't take away from the girls on the SC team.
