| Wife went through this 2 years ago. Only had 17 radiations after chemo. Her mouth was like a sunburnt mess on the inside only. Terrible! It took her 5-6 months to get most taste back. Some things like sweets today still are not right. In the whole process she would try certain foods and couldn't eat them just because they tasted like something else. Terrible thing to go through. Liquid diet several weeks prior and post chemo and radiation. Good luck to you and praying for success getting rid of the cancer. | |
