Sheridan Mi | Now that I think about it, my next older brother's birthday is six days before mine. It about had to be coming up on my sixth birthday, Dad took him and me to the Deere dealer and let us each pick something out. Jim got a 440 crawler and I got a 3010. It was the first version 3010 with metal wheels and a three point hitch like the 620 and 630 had. The one with the hook like center link that slid inside the back end. Then on my actual birthday, Dad got a four bottom mounted plow out of his dresser drawer and gave it to me. I'm pretty sure he must have bought it that same day he took us and was joking when he said he'd bought it a while ago for my 620 but he didn't think it would pull it. | |
