UConn didn't come out for the anthem? Hadn't seen that. I'm not anywhere close to a basketball expert, but that looked more like a football block than anything that should be on a basketball court. Now...if the call wasn't made all night and then was at the end, there may be a point. Win by enough points that any one questionable call isn't going to change the outcome.

I was watching an interview of Ucon's star player. She said she made mistakes during the game that did not give them enough of a point lead to withstand a call like that. She was not questioning the call as much as she was blaming herself. Ucon just didn't have enough of a lead to be able to shrug off a foul call against them that close to the closing buzzer. |
