Subject: RE: Wind.

NW Iowa
Yesterday I was blading the yard with an old open tractor. It vividly reminded me of the old days sitting out in the field hour after hour in that kind of wind. The wind was whipping nose drips up on my glasses, the dust blowing up from the dry gravel was gritting into my eyes. I think all younger farmers should be required to sit out there on an open tractor doing fieldwork for a week in the spring in Iowa. After the week is over if they still have a desire to farm they are true blooded farmers.

And the windmills; I too have heard about windmills causing drought downwind from them, too much rain, too much heat and on it goes, In relation to how far up our atmosphere goes these windmills are very short, just little stubs sticking out of the ground. If you have ever flown above windmills in a small plane the windmills look pretty small down there. Our weather is affected by much, much larger reactors than the little fans way down there on the surface of the earth.
