Northeast Indiana (Auburn) | You can buy them on eBay. I asked the local tire shop where they bought theirs. I bought one thru Meyers in Indianapolis, IN. I ended uo with a Coats 7065EX rim clamp. This model has an extra arm on it for holding low profile tires. The arm had been removed due to problems with it. The "E" stands for electric table rotation and the "X" stands for extra width clamping jaws. My jaws can be set in three positions to go from 6" to 24" rim diameter. It will also go up to a 14" rim width. I got it for $1500 delivered with a 6 month labor/parts warranty. They are good people to work with. Three of us use it so it seems to keep busy. It sure is nice to fix a flat when needed instead of waiting for a tire shop to open. If you get a Coats get the 60 series or 70 series. For farm use the 70 series. I looked at some of the import changers such as Greg Smith's. I could have got a new one for what I paid for this used one but If and when I need parts Coats will be around. |
